What is 5 G?
It is a 5th generation cellure mobile network, bringing new capabilities that will create opportunities for people, business and society.
Getting 5 G we spent more than 40 years like in 1980 we got 1 G , in 1990 we got 2G ,in early 2000 we got 3G and after 2010 we got 4G now we are talking about 5G. 5G network will give 20 times speed more than 4G. Basically 20 X speed is theory based if we get more than 15 times that will be very useful for our Indian network system, people and businesses. Buy 5G we will get a lot of change in early future of our daily life.
4G LTE has a peak speed of 1GB per second it could make critically 20gb per second.
Why is it in news?
The department of telecommunications and government of India have approved permission to telecom service providers for conducting trials for use and application of 5G technology.
The TSPs include Bharat Airtel Ltd Reliance jio infocomm Ltd Vodafone Idea Ltd . These TSPs tied up with original equipment manufacturer and technology provider which are Ericsson Nokia Samsung and C-dot Reliance will also conducting trials of 5G e but it will use its own technology .
The permissions have been given by DoT as per the priorities and technology partners identified by TSPs
themselves the experimental spectrum is given in various band which includes the my midband (3.2 GHz tu 3.67 GHz) , millimetre wave band(24.2 5ghz to 28.5 GHz) and in sub gigahertz band 700 GHz.
Why is China showing aggression over 5G trials of India?
China wanted to include in the importers of 5G companies manufacturer for the procurement of 5G trials in India but India says that Chinese showing aggression over border and still his troops didn't return China wants to export their 5G to payment in India for trade so he can get support economically.
